Future Champions

As we are nearing the middle of summer I have been really impressed with are future champions group! There has been high intensity lead by CTA coaches Kathy, Rob, Rene and Britta! As our main focus continues to be solid stroke production, footwork and balance, I am also impressed with the way these kids are competing. Kids are now starting to compete as early as 6 and 7 learning to deal with winning and losing in a positive manner is critical to a young player at this age. I see our kids this summer staying positive win or lose at the same time staying competitive and having fun. When young players don’t deal well with losses they may not stick with tennis long term. “This is a crucial thing to recognize when coaching players at this age”.
